Toure “DJ Toure” Duncan grew up playing the drums in church and at school and started Djing at the age of 12. He met Casual in the 4th grade, A-Plus, Tajai and Opio lived close by and in the late 1980's the Hieroglyphics crew officially formed. Toure made a name for himself in the Bay Area. He branched out with his production working with Dolla Will, Too $hort, E-40, Father Dom, Beeda Weeda, Goapele across Hip Hop, Rap, Soul, R&B under his production label, 101% Music.
